Me: Reconstructionist rabbi, creative ritualist

You: Parents (or expectant parents) eager to welcome your little one to your family

How we’ll work: we’ll meet in person or remotely to craft a welcome ceremony incorporating traditional Jewish elements and reflective of your child’s unique family story and heritage. If you wish, I’ll help you pick a Hebrew name for your child. When the time comes, I’ll travel to your home or another location of your choosing to officiate.

My boundaries: I joyfully work with Jewish and Jew-ish families of many makeups. LGBTQ+ parents are more than welcome! I do not require circumcision for children assigned male at birth but am glad to officiate baby namings with a mohel, or following hospital circumcision, if parents wish. I do namings for 8-day-old newborns (as is custom) and older babies.
